“Let’s get all the boring stuff out of the way. I was born in Kansas. I grew up in Guymon, Oklahoma. Graduated from OU in May 2016 with a degree in Public Relations. I have one sibling, older brother. I’m very close to my family. I like long walks on the beach..(blah blah blah)

Nature is my biggest inspiration. Its beauty and the way it heals inspires and moves people. The way it awes and makes you feel insignificant at times- it’s so powerful, and I aim to inspire and intimidate the way it does. I incorporate it into my daily routine through my eating habits and beauty products. Using natural ingredients to enhance beauty has ancient origins and I’m excited to see it’s making a comeback in makeup and hair care, as they’re both huge interests for me.

Right now I”m in a transitional part of my life. I’m moving into my first apartment soon. I have a job that I enjoy but I question if it’s what I really want to do with my time. I know it’s not realistic for everyone to do what they love for a living, but I’m still holding out hope. I struggle with my beliefs sometimes because of the state the world is in. I see things in myself that I want to change but I wonder if they’ve already become a part of my personality.

I’m just another millennial struggling to feel significant and trying to travel the world before I dedicate my entire life to a 9-5 and quietly die in the arms of my children in my suburban neighborhood.

What I value most in life are the people I have in it. My family is always number one. And the people that I interact with at this stage in my life-whether that’s every day or whenever I get the chance to see them-are people that I honestly feel like are meant for me. They’re always on my mind.”
