I’ve known Kalin and Lauren since highschool (Kalin more like Elementary school). It was a surprise when I found out they were engaged, I was happy for them and surprised. Mostly because I had no idea they were together until they posted on their Facebook. Anyway, they reached out to me and I just had to shoot their wedding. They were going to do an outdoor wedding in Newcastle, OK. It was going to be beautiful, so we had to be there.
Lauren and her bridesmaids got their makeup and hair done in their matching kimonos, while sipping on mimosas. Kalin and his groomsmen get ready just one room away, downing a bottle of champagne in the process.
The first look was everything you could hope for. As bride crept up on the groom to surprise him, he patiently waited to see her in all her glory for the first time on their special day. The look on his face when he saw her was priceless, with his cheek red as the roses in her bouquet, we knew he liked what he saw.
The ceremony was in a nice open area with a beautiful wooden arch, surrounded by trees all around. Close friends and family gathered to be present for such an important moment in Kalin and Lauren’s lives. There was an exchanging of the rings, a kiss to seal the deal, and not a dry eye around.
All in all, it was a fantastic day. Hanging with these two was a lot of fun and we wish you guys a long, successful marriage.
